The bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Advertising" (regarding placement of the outdoor advertising facilities) (Reg. No.8017) lifts the ban on collection of payment for the placement of the outdoor advertising facilities, prohibits placement of outdoor advertising facilities above the road traffic routes, and increases the distance of placement from the road shoulder to 20 meters.
The bill on amendments to clause 16 of the Law "On Advertising" (regarding placement of the outdoor advertising facilities) (Reg. No.8017-1) prohibits placement of outdoor advertising facilities above the road traffic routes, and increases the distance of placement from the road shoulder to 100 meters.
The Committee recommends the Verkhovna Rada to reject both bills.
